Yanan Zhu advises companies on corporate governance and on commercial disputes, and acts in matrimonial and family matters.
His practice is concentrated in four sectors: e-commerce, finance and credit, education and training, and culture and entertainment. A good deal of it is in the newer parts of the economy — e-commerce aimed at buyers outside China, media groups publishing across several platforms at once, and multi-channel network (MCN) companies.
Those businesses tend to change faster than the law around them, which makes the first task in a matter working out which question is actually being asked. He also acts in civil and commercial disputes.
He holds a Master of Laws from the Central University of Finance and Economics, and works in both Chinese and English.
