Jing Bai came to the law from business. Before qualifying in 2017, Bai spent years inside a domestic asset management company, and holds an MBA alongside a law degree. That combination shapes the advice given now: it starts from how a company actually operates.
Bai advises companies on business operations, corporate compliance and risk control. The questions that arise are often not purely legal — how a decision will be executed, who has to approve it, what it costs, and what happens if the assumptions behind it change. Having managed those questions from the business side, Bai can weigh the legal position against the operational one and propose something the client can put into effect.
Bai holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and a Master of Business Administration from China Agricultural University.
